Novel hit,Maximum Ride by James Patterson, is now in manga format.

Max and all of her "flock" are genetic mutants who have giant wings protruding out of their backs. After the supposed loss of their savior and friend, Jeb (before the manga begins), the group is left alone up in the mountains to fend for themselves. In the 1st book, Max and her friends travel to "the school",a laboratory, to rescue part of Max's flock, Angel.

A second book has been released as well.

The other day, my friend told me about Miku Miku Dance. It's a Vocaliod Product that simulates dancing, so you an take your favorite characters and get them to do almost any dance you want. It's complicated, there are so many little movements, but, it's really a nice product and the graphic are decent. Here's what Miku looks like when you first load her:

New York's comic con takes place from Oct. 8-10, and the New York anime festival also takes place in the same building, the Jacob Javits Center, at 655 West 34th street.  Anyone over the age of five needs a ticket,but, kids twelve and under can get in free on Sunday, kids day, but they must have proof of their age. And, an adult must accompany all under 13 while at the con.

Guests:Guests include  voice actress and J-pop Singer, Minori  Chihara. Some of her music is available on Itunes, if you become a fan. She has been invited as the Guest of honor. And no wonder, she is very talented, and  You can learn more about her at:

Since march 2, the hit anime has had seasons 1 and 2 available. To watch for free, some episodes are available on WAO and probably crunchyroll. ( I don't use crunchyroll, so I don't know.)The show ended after several years, of hit anime. Its on my long list of things to watch.... after i finish Strike Witches, and Asura Cryin'.... But the art I saw in the few minutes I watched was nice, so I'll report on it later....

On July 31st, someone pulled the fire alarm and the entire convention had to be evacuated. There was no fire, and the convention was only down for one hour. Otakon has now resumed.
