As many of you know, Hatsune Miku's birthday was two days ago on August 30th. The virtual idol has been in existence for 4 years now, and has attracted millions of fans. She has preformed in countless concerts, AMVs, has held "live concerts", has had video games and spoof anime and manga made of her and her friends, and now has her own Toyota commercials.

Every year, in Miku's birthplace, Sapporo,Japan, a concert is held. This year, another concert was held at the Nokia Theatre, during this year's Anime Expo. Mikubook.com, a website where fans can discuss and share all the AMVs and songs that make up the Vocaloid universe, though still in a beta stage, has placed the set-lists from concerts on online, and in order, so if you could not go then, you can enjoy them now.

Stephanie Yanez's new song, Ultimate Miku World, was released in late June, during the time when I was absent from my usual post. The song, a crossover between American Jpop singer Stephanie Yanez, and international sensation Hatsune Miku, was originally aired on TinierMe.com, where Stephanie acts as a sponsor and virtual idol. The song can be purchased on iTunes, where it has averaged a rough ✩✩✩✩✩ in user votes.

Hatsune Miku and the Toyota car Corolla have formed a partnership. Miku now stars in two Corolla commercials that are currently being aired in the United States. For more on MikuXCorolla, go to toyota.com/corollamiku

Toyota is also helping to fund Miku's next live concert  in the US, which will be held in California, on July 2nd.
