L, or Lawliet, is the head of the group trying to find and capture Kira, Light Yagami.The two begin, in vol 3, to attend the same college as the top students. When Light becomes L's number 1 suspect,L has roughly 64 cameras installed in his room, and in a twist, asks Light to help him find a second Kira, Misa Amane.She has sent out a message to the real Kira, saying she wishes to help him, and L has Light respond, as a fake Kira.
