1 Chibi Vampire 14
2 Vampire Kisses: Blood Relatives 3( I know this one's good, very amusing)
3 Naruto 46 (Duh)
4 FMA 20(again, duh)
5 Naruto 45
6 Bleach 28
7 Shugo Chara 7 ( I can't see this being a best seller...)
8 Yotsuba&! 6
9 NEGIMA!? NEO MAGISTER NEGI MAGI 3 ( never heard of....)
10 Vampire Knight vol. 7
The hit anime Strike Witches has come out with a Xbox game. However, it costs 80$. Fans are upset that they have waited so long for a game, well out of the price they had been expecting. Strike Witches: Silver Wing is the third game to come out, there are also models for the DS and PSP. The DS version is 60, and not yet available. Though you can pre-order. The anime is good, but the games are really pricey.

I'm sorry to have to be the one to deliver the news, but Full Metal Alchemist is officially over, both manga and anime were ending at the same time so, this means an end to the franchise. It was in it's hay-day, being the third top manga, behind Nana and One Piece, and even in front of Naruto and Bleach. it's ending will probably hurt the publishers a lot, because of it's high ranking and sources suggest that the industry will need time to recover from its loss. It was good while it lasted.

If you are a fan of the series, Vocaloid has come out with PSP games featuring Miku. There are to that I know of, Miku Hatsune Project Diva- Popular Edition:

And Miku Hatsune Project Diva 2

I'm pretty sure the games aren't all that different, but, seeing as i have not got a PSP, I wouldn't know.I'm guessing form the description that it's a vocal kind of Rock Band.

Cool as I think these are, they are kinda pricey, around 50$. You may need to save up before you buy.

The amusement park near the base of Mount Fuji, has announced that they will start the construction of the life size Evangelion scene where Shinji see Unit 1 for the 1st time. The Japanese software product, Vocaloid, where you enter a melody and lyrics and a synthetic voice sings it for you, is having a campaign in TinierMe  right now.You can go in and here music in the Town Stage area, and be sure to pick up a album. A new one is available every two hours, and there are 90 in all. There is also a Gatcha, though, to my great disappointment, it's a G-coin one. ( For those of you who don't know, it's one where you must pay for the chance to spin the Gatcha wheel.  Also available for g-coin purchase, are interior  wall poster, featuring one of all the Vocaloid  voices animated characters. Personally, I think this is frickin awesome, and all who love Vocaloid or good J-pop, this is gonna be sweet. Here are some links:
Please remember to stop by, sign up, and play the gatcha. I can also be reached on TinierMe, look me up under Kisa Kain. Just mention you  read about the Vocaloid campaign here and i will friend you.

Domo is now a Mascot for Japan's NHK

The Japanese television channel, now sports Domo as it's official mascot. Domo also appears in several of NHK's sketches.

Domo the manga is published by Tokyopop. The one's I've seen are a bit taller than the norm, but i would assume they are still very amusing.

Domo is also in several DSI programs: Crash Course Domo, Hard Hat Domo, Rock-n-Roll Domo, Pro Putt Domo, and White Water Domo.

In the USA

Domo was adopted into 26 2 min shorts by Nickelodeon, and Target used him in there Halloween ads.

Below is the 1st Domo episode released  from NHK, courtesy of

New Ghibli Movie

The genius of  Hayao Miasaki is at work again. The movie, entitled The Borrower Arrietty, will be released on 17th of July.
Dog and cat ears? Check
Heavy Weapons and Flight ability? Check
Pants? nope.....

The  anime starts with a news report telling you all about the strikers and why they 1st came into being. These armored witches were pressed into service after the Neuroi  first attacked Earth in 1939. Humanity developed "Striker Units" to combat these attackers. The young witches, gathered from all over the world became known as Strike Witches.  Then, after a good little opening song, the girls start attacking an enemy Neuroi.

Then one sees Yoshika climbing a tree outside the school, why? to save a cute little black cat stuck high in the tree. On the way home, she tells her friend of her fathers leaving the day before her school opening ceremony. His personal effects are sent home 3 years later and a notice of death accompanies them.  Then, the cart breaks and her friend is sent down into a ravine. By the time Yoshika gets down there, her friend is bleeding profusely.   She uses her magic to help save her friend and, in doing so, Major Samamoto witnesses this power. She attempts to get her to join the Strike Witches. She refuses, but the next day a letter comes, containing two photographs, one of her father and one of her father with the Strike Witches.

Watch Strike Witches:

The 1st season ended after thirteen fabulous episodes, and then continues on, with another thirteen.  Tomoharu   learns that the more he uses Kurogane the less time he can keep Misao alive and have a second chance to save her. ( His 1st chance was when he made her into a burial doll so she wouldn't die, now, maybe he can save her again?)

While on a class trip, Kagakagari hijacks the
plane the seniors are on, and the 1st and 3rd councils must work together to save the students and plane staff.  When the fight is over, tears will be shed all around, the characters, the voice actors, and even you- Aine, the sweet burial doll for Reishiro. She sacrifices the last of her dwindling life force to make a runway of ice for the plane and her cousins - Reishiro and Reiko- to land on.
 ( Kristina Fortuna)
The tentative romance between Tomoharu and Takatsuki continues as the urgency for her to find a contractor strengthens after  the death of Kristina Fortuna, Nia's big sister.  In episode four, the group finds ruins on a deserted island, and Satomi kidnaps little Nia and draws Kristina and  Kagakagari out into the open, attacks and in this battle, both Kristina and Kagakagari's burial doll, Kotori die in the fight. Some of Kristina's last words are for her sister, telling Tomoharu to tell Nia that she was reckless, but she was happy.  In fact, her last strength is used freeing her sister from a Casta Machina. Then, she and her demon-daughter Ingrid, contractor Kagakagari, melt away. Having also lost Kotori in the fight he has nothing left for him to fight for and gives Nia a disc drive containing all of her sisters research.

I've left out some other surprises, just in case you decide to watch this anime, but, like all anime and manga, it's a hit-and-miss proposition. Have a good day!
